Training / Capacity Building Activities

VBKVK imparts need based training to farmers and farm-women in location specific technologies in field crops, horticultural crops, animal husbandry, home-science, agriculture engineering, soil science etc.

Vocational training for rural youth in dairy farming, goat rearing, vermi-compost, fruit and vegetable processing, poultry farming, tailoring, nursery management, maintenance of farm equipment etc. are organised.

Trainings are held for extension functionaries of State Development Departments within the area of operation with emerging advances in agricultural research.
